Sailing through the headwaters along The Great Bački Canal
Sailing through the headwaters from Sombor to Bački Monoštor or Bezdan along The Great Bački Canal (GBC), offers the ultimate experience and the best way to enjoy the beautiful and untouched nature. You will get the chance to understand the history, significance and trivia of this exclusive ecosystem placed in the central part of the "Gornje Podunavlje" (Upper Danube) special nature reserve. 
The boat “Tatjana” is designed for panoramic sailing and has a maximum capacity of 25 people. Safety is highly important to us, which is why we provide life vests and a dedicated crew member in charge of safety while on board. The boat “Tatjana” is perfect for day trips and excursions for children, as well as hour long or whole day cruises suitable for any occasions and all generations. For whole day trips we sail to Bački Monoštor. The cruise takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes each way. To accompany the good atmosphere we provide background music during the whole trip. Alternatively if the guests prefer, we also offer live music on the boat, as well as a selection of cold drinks for sale, and a magical ambiance.
In Bački Monoštor we will dock at Lepi Toma’s Oasis of Peace. Toma's oasis offers you an exquisite ambiance, with a dock to enjoy the water, recreational activities (table tennis) and the opportunity to enjoy the gastronomic wonders with fish specialties, especially their famous Monoštor fish stew.
If the guests wish, in cooperation with UG “Podunav” (Non-Governmental Organisation “Podunav”), we organise a village tour on the horse drawn carriage (eco taxi) and visit the honey-making household, the ethno house and different kinds of old workshops.
We are happy to take bookings for different kinds of small events such as birthday parties, weddings, reunions, graduations (for up to 20 people), or any other type of occasion that you would like to make special.
The one-hour cruises start from Sombor bathing resort Strand and sail through the willow area to the old Sombor ship locks and then on to the junction of three canals. During the voyage (one-hour or whole day) your captain will share with you interesting facts about the history, significance, trivia, flora and fauna of the Great Bački Canal. Our boat is well suited for filming and photographing the many different and rare bird kinds that inhabit this part of nature, such as the white-tailed eagle and the black stork.
